Frequently asked
§How many PDFs can I merge at once?
You can merge as many PDFs as you want in a single operation. There is no limit on the number of files, though very large numbers of files may take longer to process.
§Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Merging PDFs preserves the original quality of each page. The process simply combines the page objects from each PDF into a single document without re-compressing images or text.
§Can I reorder files before merging?
Yes. After uploading your files, you can drag and drop them to change the merge order. The final PDF will follow the order you set.
§Does the merged PDF keep bookmarks and links?
Basic page content, text, and images are preserved. Complex features like bookmarks, form fields, and internal links may not be carried over in the current version.
§Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Currently, password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first using our Unlock PDF tool before they can be merged.
